My Box-
The guide on How To.

After looking around I found that having more of you in your profiles, is a more effective way for people to know you. This is where I would like to introduce our newest feature, 'My Box'. Have you guys had a chance to check out your new profiles? This is your own home. When you update your home, some of you may be confused on how to use the 'My Box' feature. Don't worry, this will tell you all about the feature, once you know the basics of the setting you may play around with it and see all of the cool things you can do.
What is 'My Box'? My box is a feature in your home that enables people to see media when entering. Some media are Youtube, Widgets, Flash, and more. The possibilities are endless...When you click on 'Home' it will bring you straight to 'Edit your home', here we can edit 'My box'.

Youtube:
To add a Youtube Video...

1. Go to Video on Youtube.com
2. Copy the page URL
3. Go to 'Edit your Home'
4. Scroll down to My Box.

Some of you should see this in your box:

Code:: [youtube][/youtube]

But if for some reason it got deleted, copy the code box above and re-add it.

5. Now paste your URL inside the brackets. It should look like this:

Code:: [youtube] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH2-TGUlwu4 [/youtube]

but without the space.

6. Click save, then view my profile.

Congratulations. Once your done it should look like this:

Flash:
To add Flash...

Flash can be anything from Games to Videos. This is how to get Flash in your home.

1. Go to any site that offers flash.
- I often use deviantart.com but there are many other sites that have flash Videos/Games.

2. Copy the page URL / swf. File.
-The file you copy MUST end in .swf if it doesn't it is NOT a Flash file. To get the
SWF file on Deviantart, click 'Download File' and copy the page URL.

3. Go to 'Edit your Home'
4. Scroll down to My Box.
5. Delete

Code:: [youtube][/youtube]

and add

Code:: [flash][/flash]

6. Now paste your URL inside the brackets. It should look like this:

Code:: [flash] http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs36/f/2008/275/f/6/SNAKE___FLASH_GAME_by_orangefruits.swf [/flash]

but without the space.

7. Click save, then view my profile.
Congratulations. Once your done it should look like this:

Flash can vary in size and we HIGHLY recommend Flash that is not so large.

Once you learn those two skills, you can experiment and learn more, like how to make Flash bigger or smaller, or to add widgets.

Rules:

1. You may have more than one
2. Please make sure your flash is not too large.
3. Don't post videos/flash on here if the original creator of it asks for it not to be reposted anywhere.
4. Make sure everything is appropriate content. Nothing violent, harmful, offensive, or sexual in any way! There are no reminders on this rule. You will be seriously warned or banned.
